If you are planning on travelling the East Coast of Australia there's one thing you should know - is HUGE! To put it into perspective, it would take around 32 hours of non stop driving to travel between Sydney and Cairns. What does this mean? An entire coastline of stunning beaches up for the visiting.
With so many well known beaches highlighted along the backpacker trail: Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays, 75 Mile Beach on Fraser Island, Byron Bay's surf beaches, Noosa - the list goes on - it takes a certain type of adventurous traveler to stumble upon the less known hidden gems that line the coast.
We all know that some of the best travel memories stem from those moments that we stumble upon a little touch of unknown paradise. So we turned to some of our favourite travel bloggers to see which secret beaches hidden along Australia's east coast they recommend.
